Buffalo Cauliflower Pizza recipe

If you haven't tried buffalo cauliflower 'wings' yet, this may be life-changing for you. Because buffalo cauliflower on pizzawith a homemade ranch sauce — is almost too good to be true.

You will need:

  • 1 plant-based pizza crust
  • 1 head of cauliflower, chopped into small florets
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegan butter
  • ½ cup + 2 tablespoons buffalo sauce
  • 3 cups vegan mozzarella
  • ½ avocado, sliced
Vegan Ranch
  • ¾ cup plain vegan yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons macadamia milk
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon agave syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon cracked pepper

Directions:

  • 1Preheat oven to 200°C or 180°C fan forced.
  • 2Prepare pizza crust according to package directions. Make sure to bake the crust before adding toppings.
  • 3Toss cauliflower florets in coconut oil, salt and cornstarch. Spread evenly on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes, until tender and golden brown.
  • 4In a small saucepan, heat buffalo sauce and vegan butter over medium-low and whisk until well combined. Remove from heat and reserve about ¼ cup in a separate bowl. Pour the rest over the baked cauliflower and toss to combine.
  • 5Spread remaining ¼ cup of buffalo sauce over pizza crust in a thin layer. Top with vegan cheese and buffalo cauliflower.
  • 6Bake for about 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
  • 7Meanwhile, whisk together all ingredients for vegan ranch.
  • 8Remove pizza from oven and let cool slightly. Top with avocado slices, microgreens and a drizzle — or pour — of vegan ranch. Slice and enjoy!
