One of the easiest cookie recipes you'll ever find, this is a great one to hand over to the kids when they're keen to develop their baking skills! The nutritious ingredients list means they can go wild munching on them too ;)
1Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray.
2Add the bananas to a medium bowl and mash well. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix until well combined. The mixture should be sturdy but moist. If your mixture falls apart easily, add a little more rolled oats and mix again.
3Wet your hands, grab a spoonful (about 2 tablespoons) of the mixture and place it on the lined baking tray. Repeat until you’ve used up the mixture. You should have about 16 cookies.
4Bake the cookies in the oven for 15-20 mins or until the cookies are golden brown. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking tray and enjoy.
Variation: Depending on your taste preferences, you may like to add in vanilla extract, chocolate chips, dried fruit, or nuts — this recipe is highly adaptable!
